The Bold One

Three origins. Brazil, Ethiopia and Kenya — washed and natural lots blended and roasted medium-dark to bring out depth without losing character. Dark chocolate and hazelnut lead, with roasted almond and honeycomb underneath. Strength sits at 4/5 — this one's got weight behind it.

Built To Cut Through Milk

Wide-Eyed was built for milk-based coffees. The darker roast profile gives it the punch to hold its own in a flat white or latte without disappearing. But pull it as a straight espresso and you'll get a rich, syrupy shot with a long chocolate finish. If your morning needs a proper wake-up call, this is the blend.

I love the wide eyed blend. It's also great that Altura provide dosing, extraction ratio, group head temp and extraction times for their blends, all of which I can set into my Meraki espresso machine. Flavour is just right for anytime of day.

Hi, I regularly use Wide-eyed, blend. Love the chocolaty undertone, which gives me the perfect lift first thing in the morning. Also lunchtime the help me through the afternoon. Not sure what percentage of dark roast to medium, but just wondering about toning down the dark slightly to make it a slightly softer flavour for the afternoon for people who don’t have milk.
